Hello Dot,

Well hope this finds all you folk well. Starting to get my mail again. But it comes in bunches. I am feeling much better now. Went to town yesterday had a swell time. The Veno was good but it’s a little warm for wine.

Met a little girl about four years old. She was the cutest damn kid. Smart as a whip. I bought her a pair of shoes. Then decided she needed a bath and new clothes. So I got her fixed up from the skin out. Haha took her home and made the old lady give her a bath haha.

She had bleach curly hair. Boy was she proud of shoes shoes and stuff. She strutted around like a little chicken. Of course I had to go and spoil her. I picked her up a few times going up and down the stairs. Then I had to carry her all over the damn town. We went to a show, eat a ton of ice cream.  We had a big steak dinner. Boy was that gal hungry.

The little tike wanted to go home with me. I had a heck of a time trying to get away. I had to tell her I would be back real soon. Sure would like to take her back to the states with me. Haha

Well heard Gordie is taken off once in a while. He’s growing up on you too. So don’t get too worried about him. He won’t go to far yet but later on. Oh boy. Haha tell him his Jimmie sure misses him a big bushel. Thank the gals for the lovely letters. Also tell sis I send her a big kiss. She’s my best gal.

Had a letter from Vin. Think he is in the South Pacific now. He said he was going over soon. He said he told Mary off and thinks she will be O.K. now. Sometimes I wonder and then again I don’t know. Haha

Glad to hear Hazel is doing O.K. Don’t know if that’s good or not. Haha

Had a letter from her. Also Morg can’t keep up on the damn writing. Get them all at once. Man I sure would like a cold bottle of beer. No beer owned in this hole. Hope Gordan holds out till I get home. Haha

Well honey the damn flies are eating me up. So will have to write off. Sent Marie some pictures, get one.

Loads of love,
