Dear Jack,
It was rather surprising to hear from you, but really I like to correspond.
As I know you are eager to know something about me, I’ll just being telling you a few of the things. I am 5 ft. 2 in. tall, weigh 120 lb., light brown hair, blue eyes, and I go to high school now. I’m taking five subjects this term; they are English, art, social studies, algebra, and biology. Last quarter my grades were all B’s.

as it may seem to you, I’m a great athlete.
At the present I’m playing basketball, and my position is side
forward. We are to have a game Tuesday
