Jack honey,

Hi!!!!! How you all?? Gee, I haven’t heard from you since Sept 21. What’s wrong??  I think I’ll send a pen and writing paper to you for Christmas.  Broad hint eh??

School is in session as I told you that before in the letters I wrote.  I can’t under stand why you haven’t received them.  Gosh Jack I hope you could be here when I graduate!  It would certainly be something wonderful to look forward too.

We were given our senior pins, same as the ones you had with J. Le Fever on it.  Mmm love! Now we have to have our senior “proofs” made, I know just how mine will turn out. Horrible.  No comments honey, they say a camera never lies, I wonder??

I heard you were gonna come back to the states? I want to believe but that would be getting my dreams run away with myself. Oh Jack I hope it’s true! I’ll know soon so I’ll wait.

Hey A.C. has really changed! I think the guy has a heart after all!! Or should I say Helen Rowe has it?? Isn’t that wonderful Jack????  I think he’s changed for the best.

You asked me about Konie and Jean. There isn’t much to say as you know how things stand with Jean. She likes Red and Konie has always been just a friend! I haven’t seen him around recently, wonder what happened to him?

Gosh, before I forget, if I could?  I went to New York City last Saturday with Jean. Oh Jack I had a wonderful time!!!! So many people and in such a rush.  We went to “Childs” to eat our lunch and everyone was stuffing the food down their Esophagus so Jean and I got indigestion just watching them!  I felt so sick, boy I don’t know how those people do that every day.  We walked so much and I had a new pair of shoes on.  Brother, were my feet sore!!!! In the afternoon at 2:30 we went to see a stage play called “The Red Mill”.  It was wonderful. At night, we went to the “Capital” Theatre and saw Paul Whiteman, Marthe Tilton, and McDowell (movie star, can’t remember his first name). Jack, I was never so tired in all my life as when I reached home that night or should I say Sunday morning.  We arrived in Kingston at 3:30 am. What a day from 7:10 (bus left) to 3:30 a.m. I had a wonderful time, don’t you love New York?

Gosh honey I’m worried, what’s wrong?  Please tell me the truth!!!!  I’ve just finished reading over some of the letters you wrote me. When I read those letters, it’s just as though you were here talking to me.  Jack, do you think of me much?  I hope so!!  I have really woke up Jack, and learnt my lesson.  I’m being square, I hope you are.

I’m going down to the library now as I have a book overdue. Might as well get my homework done!

I’ll write soon, hope I see you or hear from you.

Je vous aime

Always,

Jackie
