Jack honey,

Hi marine (best one in the outfit)!!  Hope you feel super, I do.  This morning I received a picture of you and a letter, the first letter in quite some time.  If you are busy as you say, then I understand.  Gosh sakes I’ll have to write and tell your commanding officer to send you so “I can take care of you! (ha)

Tomorrow is Friday and the stores stay open till 9 P.M.  Woe is me!!!  I wish you were home so you could meet me after work.

Jack, no matter what you hear about me and other guys please remember that you are the “no. 1” Guy on my list!!  I don’t pretend about that.  I learnt my lesson when you went away in the Marines, it took something like that to wake me up.  To tell the truth I never thought I would ever find a guy who I could talk freely with, I did find him and near made a fool of myself by nearly losing him.  I love that guy very much and I won’t do anything to loose him again.  That guy is you Jack!!  You told me once that there were no strings attached but you wish you had steel cables attached to me.  Jack do you still feel that way?  Honest???

About Christmas you shall get a picture of me.  I get my proofs made Saturday Nov. 16, then my pictures.  Would you like a big one or a small one?  Or both???  Also Jack I want a big picture of you.  If you send me that it will be the best present you or anyone would give me.  Gosh I’m beginning to get quite a gallery of pictures of you, I have them all over my room.  Nice.

Schools coming along fine!  I was elected Senior representative to Prisma of my home room so I have been busy in a magazine drive we are sponsoring.

I better close, its 10:50 P. M and time for your gal to go to (bed) in case you didn’t know.  Think I’ll take up art I certainly could use the lessons!!  No comments honey.

So-Long until I hear from you (soon?)
