Dear Mom,

Just got back from an eight day furlough. Have had a pretty good time.

Is Polly coming to live with you if Paul is called into the army? It will be quite a different change for her. He won’t pass all the physicals anyway.

Guess old Row doesn’t change much.

Will sign off for now.
