Dear Mom,

Got your letter yesterday. Was glad to hear that everything is OK.

Had a pretty good time on my furlough. Went to Coventry. It is quite a nice town.

How is Polly, Paul, and all the rest getting along?

Got a letter from Bernice the other day. Everything seems to be about the same with them.

Polly said she might come up to live with you if Paul goes into the army.
