Dear Mom,

Sorry for not writing more often, but just too darned lazy, I guess.

Had a day off yesterday. Another fellow and I went bike riding. Sure was a swell day. We took a camera along. Will send you a few pictures if they come out any good?

Discovered a new game (to me) in one of the “pubs” around here. It is called “Skittels.” Works something like a May Pole. On the end of a small chain about 3 feet long is a wooden ball. The other end of the chain is attached to a swivel on the top of the pole. The object of the game is to knock over as many nine pins as you can in three tries. It’s quite interesting.

The weather over here sure is swell now. Just like June in the states.
