Dear Mom,

            Got your package and letters just today. Guess that makes all of the packages. It came through perfect. They always do when they are packed right. A lot of the boys got packages all torn to h___ just because they haven’t been wrapped good.

            It is still pretty chilly over here. Weather will probably begin to break in some wool any day now.

            When I get into Paris again I’m going to send you some perfume.

            Tell Laton I would send him a little of Cognac but don’t think it would get trough the Armor.
