Dear Helen,

Received your letters and all is well.

1. No hard candy of any kind

2. May be on 1 pm train but doubt it, the 5pm one is more likely.

Nothing much to write about, I saw “Robin hood” last night. [It was free] It was really good.

That’s about all. Ham sure drew a good assignment alright. He’s lucky the army has been consistent. –Had.
