Dear Mom, Dad & Marie,

I guess by the time you will read this you will be wondering where in the world I am. All I can say is that I am still in the world and “somewhere in Australia.”

I told you that I might be sending postcards from some place even further away than California.

Of course since this is wartime I cannot say but little in my letter, at least for the present, so don’t feel badly at the briefness of this.

We had a very nice trip and good weather all the way. I was very lucky in the fact that I did not become sea sick and have been quite well. Sometime I get a kick out of all this, despite the war.

My address will be the same as it was in my last letter and I will also enclose is in this one.

I will close now with the hope this will find you all well and not worrying too much. Also that I will have some good news for you soon.

                                                                        With love

                                                                        Aubrey
