Dear Mother:

Well I guess there’s nothing to do about the picture.  Get a Kodak mailer and send it to: Audrey Smith-317 S. Center, Longview, Tex. Nothing else is necessary.

Yes we can get out but there are only 2 places to go.  The Show and the Cadet Club.  And on Thursday the chances are 50% against you’re not getting open pool.  How they can keep us cooped up here is beyond me.

Some of the guys are leaving pretty soon, but not very many.

It rained like the devil this morning and now the sun is out and getting plenty warm.

Saw the Camel Caravan show last night and it was pretty good.  They had a couple of acrobats, a dancer, a singer and a couple of musicians.  Tried to go to the show tonight but there was a line about a

half a mile long.  Then I went in the Cadet Club and that was packed too.  So now I’m back here writing a letter.  In a little while there will be a morning picture shown against one of the buildings here and we can go out and see that.

Enclosed is the Sigual Corp ribbon from my cap.

I guess I’ll quit for now.
