Hello Folks,

Well here it is, the third night in the Army. We had our shots today but that doesn’t bother me for another fellow and myself are going up to the service club to see what they have to offer for entertainment. I think they have a dance on.

Say if I am here Saturday and Sunday I will call you up Saturday night to see if you can come up Sunday. If you can I will be able to get a five hour pass. You go to the USO [United Service Organizations] in Ayer and call for me at the above address, then I will be able to go down to see you. Nevertheless I will call Saturday night. Everything is OK. Here is my allotment slip.
