My Beloved: Oh that heavenly long letter that came yesterday! (Written Oct. 10^th). It said all the wonderful things I wanted to hear, and was so utterly darling. I feel so much better since it came. Janie woves Daddy so much, and says she’s glad he finds me so pretty. She now weighs 16 pounds. She likes her play pen a lot. I got her a little kozie Halloween hat, a tiny orange derby, about as big as a teacup, with a huge black feppa, and she adores it. She looks so cute in it. I’ll try for some snaps of her. She can almost sit up alone now. Pup is temporarily better. Wylie has put her car in cold storage for the winter. Baw is selling out everything at auction, and is coming up here in December. I’m so glad. He’s old and not too well. Did I tell you he’s giving me a desk, an easy chair, and a lot of household stuff? I’m thrilled at the desk especially. I wrote mother a 5 page letter today, haven’t heard from her in sometime, but I write her weekly. I love he cause she had you for me.
