Hi Bella:

Well its been a long time since you’ve hears from me, and also a long time since I heard from you, but I’m hoping you’ll ans. this letter.

How are you anyway Bella? As for myself I’m just fine, & so is my wife and son. My son has two teeth in his mouth now & he sure does look cute.

Yes! I’ve been a bad boy again. I’m back in the post stockade. I took a 42 day vacation on the army time, so that wasn’t so bad was it? This makes fourth current marshal and second time in the stockade.

How are your folks? Is your brother still overseas? and Do you still work at Liberty Finance? I wish I could back there to see you Bella. Its been a year this month since I’ve been home last, & in that time I’ve raised plenty of h_ _ _. I guess when I get out this time my wife will come back up here with me. When I went over the hill she went with me. We were living on an Indian Reservation Mission & I was working in a bagging comp, & making good money to. Well anyway I did learn to speak the Indian language, or rather some of it.

Say! I see Kingston beat Meyers last year in football. So what do you have to say for yourself? I told you a long time ago that Kingston was the best school of the valley, but you how it is. I hate to be one of those I told you so’s, but I told you so.

Hows the weather back there. We had some nice weather for a couple of days, but today it was awfull cold here.

Well I guess this is all I have for now. So until I hear from you I remain.
