         Admiralty Islands

Dearest Clara,

Well honey, this will be my new address for a long time. It’s much better than changing all the time. I am fine and sure hope you are too. I have your other letters written, so I always drop you one of these. I hope you do too; it sure will be nice when our mail catches up with us. I really miss them, everything is quiet. I have to wash in the morning. My left eye aches some; I guess it’s from being out in the bright sun. It will soon be bed time, but I think I should write to Kyle and Mother before I do. Let me know all the news and how you are mostly dear. I hope you got some nice presents. Nothing for you to worry about everything is quiet, so be careful honey, I will. Write every day, I’ll do my best to honey.

With all my love and kisses to my sweet wife Clara,

Johnny
