My dearest Gerry:

How I hated to say good-bye last night, but parting is such sweet sorrow when I can see you next week. I went back and listened to John and Bernice until 1:45AM and arrived at Junction Blvd at 2:30 and from there I took a cab home. John is writing to tell you what he said to me. He would have preferred to speak to us together but that was impossible last night.

I had a beautiful upset stomach today and stayed in bed all day. I got up about 3:30PM because there was no way of getting in touch with Mrs. Taylor. I felt much better after I got going but it certainly fells good to be lying down again. Mrs. Taylor is going out to see “The Boss” for a week to get the lay of the land. Patty enjoyed being invited along.

Well my darling let me hear from you on John’s letter as I promised him I wouldn’t write to you on our talk. I love you dearly & wonder what they think?

                                                                                                            Love,

                                                                                                            Eileen
