My dearest wife:

This is the letter that I promised I was going to write by air mail. My stamps came today, so this is going to be a test. I don’t have very much to say anymore because I just finished No.10. This will be a little Annex.

I haven’t been into town yet, so if and when I do I am going to try to find a little something for you for a souvenir. They don’t have very much and what they do have they make you pay for it. Anyway I think you would rather have the money – we can always use that. Speaking of money what was the doctor and hospital bill? Do we have any more bank account left and if so how much? You can keep me posted on those little details; anyway it will give you something to write about. I wanted to ask you before, did you ever send in that form I gave you for the baby? Did you get any payments yet? Do you think you can save any of your money? These are just a few questions I can think of now.

Do you have any V-mail? Maybe you could give it a test too. The thing I am interested in is the quicker the better. I am still sweating out some mail. I haven’t had any for about three weeks now, but I think I should be getting some in a couple of days.

How is Allen? Sorry I didn’t mention anything about him for a while, but I was kind of interested in the new girl. Can I call her “Bobby” for short? It sounds cute- don’t you think? That goes with the name I guess. Can Allen talk anything yet? Does he like his sister?

I guess if you answer all the questions I ask then you can write for days, write anyway for I do too.

                                                                                                            All my love,

                                                                                                                        Pres.
