Dear Mom and Dad

This is just a short line to say hello and send some crummy pictures. I got my first pass into Monterey tonight. It sure is a dead town. We only stayed there about 2 hours out of our 6 hour passes. Looks like Im about to fall over backwards in 2 of the pictures. They took them so fast I didn’t have time to think how I was standing.

We will be leaving here Friday for Camp Roberts. They give weekend passes there, so I know I will be home before long, if not this weekend, the next.

Glad to hear you’re feeling better. I’m still fine as ever.

Well I had better turn in. Lights go out in a little bit.
