Dear Mom and Dad,

Hello again from Hawaii. How are you. I haven’t gotten any mail since I left home yet. Sure wish it would hurry up and come thru. Had a detail all day yesterday. Put up a 6 ft. barbed wire fence down in Honolulu.

I called up Willi’s night before last. They sure were surprised. I’m going on pass tomorrow and see them. They want me to try to stay all nite with them. I think it can be arranged.

Billy is in Monterey, Calif. Sure wish I would have known that when I was at Fort. Ord. Nancy is married and has a baby. She lives right here on the beach.

Well that’s about all the news from this end. Will close for now.
