Dear Mom and Pap

Well I’m still here in the hospital. I’m an up patient now, and I suppose I’ll be getting out of the hospital in a few days. This time I’m going to stay out.

I don’t know whether or not I’ll get home any more or not. I hope I can. Don’t start sending any packages or anything till I know for sure. If I get moved down to the Cowolescent ward I might get home some evening. I really don’t know whats going to happen. I got three get well cards and a Christmas card from Aunt Anna and Uncle Walter all dated the same day. I just got a letter from you that was dated Dec. 12. Well, I guess I’ll close now. Hope to see you soon. All my love.

Alfred
