Dear Mom and Pop,

I haven’t much time to write, just a few lines, to tell you that I’ll be home this weekend. I wasn’t going to [come], but since it is Easter I will.

I’m going to see if I can get a ride up to [Philadelphia], or I have a ticket to come back left over from the other week.

I haven’t done much down here. Saturday I washed all my clothes in the Bendex, and Sunday a bunch of us went out to the zoo and fooled around and took pictures.

Well I hope you are feeling much better, with the mild weather coming on. I certainly was hot here this past weekend. It was about 86˚. Yesterday it was cold and rainy, so you never know what to expect.

Well I guess I’d better close for now. Well, see you this weekend. I don’t know what time I’ll be home though.

All my love,

Alfred
