Dearest Marge,

            I’ll try and write you a note tonight before I have to so something else. I got two letters tonight dated May 28 & 29 and you said the last letter you received was written April 24. Boy I’ve written more since then than I did before and I can’t help if the mail is screwed up. In fact the mail service on this end hasn’t been anything to brag about. But that’s just one of those things you or I can’t do anything about.

            Well tomorrow is Sat. Tomorrow morning we have to go listen to our Colonel speak about _______. I guess it won’t be worth listening to. Cause I’ve heard two and he never said anything either time.

            Oh yes. We have a new A.P.O.

A.P.O 638

It came out today. I don’t know anymore about the change than you.

            We had a big inspection here today. Boy all the bull sh*t. I guess we will have a lot of them in the near future.

            There isn’t much happening here. Nothing new. I don’t know anymore now what’s going to happen than I did a month ago. Sooner or later we may find out something definite. Boy I hope so.

            I really would love to see you and your “spread”. I had to laugh when I read that. Well Marge I may have the last laugh on you after all. Maybe you will get to weigh 300 after all. That would be something. I don’t know how much I weight now. I haven’t been weighed for a heck of a long time. Probably weigh around 178, maybe more.

            It’s getting cool here tonight. We had a little rain today and then it got pretty hot.

            Well Darling I’m OK but wish I could be home with you right now. Boy I’d be real happy then. It’s really been a long time since I saw you last. Honey someday we will be together again and maybe we can forget all this. Be good Darling and I’ll have to be.
