Dear Carrie, Fred, Gary, and Gene,

This will probably be a short one because I have a dental appointment in an hour, but thought I’d let you know where I am and what.

Things just about the same as when we were here before.  Not enough to do to keep us really busy but no time to go home.  We went to a beautiful wedding last night.  A captain back from India and a girl in town.  We knew the girl’s best friend so we got ourselves invited.  It was a very formal affair and really nice.

Hope this finds you all in the best of everything.  Trust that you are rounding into the pink again by now Carrie.  Haven’t heard from anyone since I’ve been here and it sure makes home seem like a long way off.  Guess I can’t expect too much though because I’ve haven’t been doing much writing.

We have no idea of how long we’re going to be here.  Maybe a couple more days.  Maybe a month.  Course we’re just hoping for a chance to get home but things don’t look so good there.

Know this is an awful short letter, folks but I got to go catch at appointment.  It just to get my teeth cleaned, thank goodness.  I had a dental inspection at Bluthenthal and they said I was O.K. and had one here and they filled sixteen (16) teeth.  Darned near killed me.  That was at one sitting I mean.  I was in the chair about two and a half hours.  It’s what they call preventative work, I reckon.  Sure hope it prevents something.  So long for now and take care of yourselves.

                                                                                    Lots of Love,

                                                                                                Glenn
