Dear Folks,

This is just a quickie to let we you hear from me.  They’ve left us here much longer than I thought they would but it looks like the waiting is over.  We’ll go from here to a port of embarkation and we may be there for a few days.  And then again we may not.

I sure have a raft of letters here from you.  Thanks for writing and I’m sorry I can’t write a longer one to answer.

There isn’t much I can tell you because I haven’t any idea of where we are going myself.

Mother will get a card with my A.P.O. number in a couple of days and I’ll write when I can.  So take care of yourselves.

Oh, I got the letter you sent after I came back.  I take this finds you all in the pink.  I’m swell myself.

            So long for now,

                                    Lots of love,

                                                Glenn
