Dear Sisters:

Garbrial Heathere is shooting his mouth off right now I don’t know if he is crying or not.

We just finished our supper we had stew it was pretty good even if I did make it.

Today we got a card from the Cromptons when did them move to Northumberland?  I still thought they were in Danville.

I got a cute announcement for Coronet today Kathryn it is very nice thanks a lot for sending it to me.

At the field today there was a plane circling around that could not get its landing gear & had to burn up its gas finally it made an attempt to land & it made it O.K. but it surely was a tense minute to see that guy come in & one wrong move & you’d see a couple of guys get roasted.

We are not busy at the field right now but I guess one of these days we’ll get it all at once that is how it goes sometimes.

I got a letter from Irma today it was written on Sunday.  I heard Kate Smith on Sunday night also.  Are you giving all of your friends a Christmas gift?  I wonder if you got all of your Christmas cards addressed to a heck of a job.  What are you going to do with all the money you got from the milkweed fools?

Some of the snow is still laying out here but it isn’t as cold as it had been.

Boy we surely enjoyed your cookies & it surely was a surprise to find a different kind on each layer they surely were swell thanks a million for them.

We got a box from Elizabeth today it had jelly cookies and mints in it.

I think I’ll sign off for this time.

We are all well & hope you are the same.

                                    So long

                                                Love

                                                            John
