Dear Sisters:

I am ready to go to work once again and I have a little time so I’ll try and get a letter written to you.

We are busy at work.  It seems that a lot of engines got there flying time all at once and the engines we have to put back on do not come up to far.  There is really something haywire some place and it isn’t at this end but they’ll try and blame us for it.

We are having real March weather very windy it pushes you around and dirty is flying something terrible but it is the time for that.  I have a few letters to answer 2 from Kathryn and 2 from Urma I’ll answer K. first.

You are lucky you paid most of your income tax by the withholding it surely is easier that way.

If I ever see another good watch cheap I’ll buy it for you Kathryn really every once in awhile they have some very good bargains.

That’s a hot one about Clara Gerlancher it must be her age or something.

You rarely have your troubles with your dinner guests but it is nice you have them.

I guess the winter has been plenty hard on the struts and they will need some attention.  I don’t believe I’d get manure if I could get Uigoro or another commercial fertilizer unless you could get the real thing and it is getting kind of late to find the real thing in the ground.

Hey Urma the best way to get rid of a charley horse in the leg is to walk it out not use a hot Pad.

I hope you can find an Easter out fit but I wouldn’t worry about it.  You now the army does that for me

I’ll be on the look out for the film Urma thanks a million for it.

I don’t now what day is wash day out here there is wash hanging out all the time.

Your school will soon be over if only we new to the day when this darn war is going to be over.

Well I must get ready and run for it is getting late.

So long

Love

John
