Dear Mom and Pop,

There is not much news about. I have been going to school all week learning how to drop bombs and operate the automatic pilot. It is really interesting stuff too.

As I wrote before, I am very satisfied with the field and the town. I have four three boys with me that I have know all the way and that helps a lot.

I will start flying again on Monday next and from then on it will be nothing but flying bombing missions. I imagine it will get pretty tiresome after awhile.

Mom I hope you won’t be sore, but I just can’t get into a letter writing mood tonight. I just wanted to let you know that I’m OK.
