Dear Mae

Well this is probably the last letter I will write to you. I am leaving this district for good. I hope. So you probably will never see me again.

I am headed for the coast. I leave Sat afternoon. I am now going home to see the folks for a few hours I have a 48 liberty. I don’t know if I will get a chance to see Inez before I leave or not but in case I don’t tell her I said goodbye.
