Dear Sis-

            A few lines to let you all know I am well and ok and hope you are the same. Is the weather is as bad there as it is here? It sure is rough there, I know how cold and bad it gets there. It has been raining lots here the last 3 or 4 days and the wind is blowing nearly as bad as it does there. Sure hope we don’t have to stay here the rest of the winter, but it might be worse where ever we go to, but at that it would be a change, and that will help some. It didn’t take long to get tired of one place over here, nothing to do or any place to go and that makes it worse. We could go if we could get passes but no more passes for the time being. One thing about it when I get out of this mess I wont need a d_ _ pass or beg anyone to get to go some place, and that will be worth a lot. Hoping to hear from you again soon.
