Dear Mom & all,

Will try and get a few lines through to you. I guess you have been worrying about me but that is something that can’t be helped, so just be as patient as you can.

The weather up here is still pretty cold, and it sure does rain. We are not doing much just waiting, so if you don’t hear from me again soon don’t worry for I will be ok.

Tell Allie Mae and let Lucy and Bertice know that I am well and ok.
