Dearest Mom & all-
Received your letters yesterday and sure was glad to hear from you all and that everyone is well and o.k. I am feelin pertty good, Mom as for the lighter just forget about it. For we are getting a few matches now if you want to send something send Camel Cigarettes, and razor blades, we only get one blade per week and have to shave everyday, so that one blade isn’t quite enough for my tough beard. Sure hope it has rained there by now. It is still dry and hot here, Jeffery came back from the Sicley campaign he and I are bunking together now, think he is reall guy, just hope we he sure is a real guy hope we can stay together through this mess. I’m about out of paper so will close for this time hoping to hear again soon
