Dearest Mom & all

Wrote to you yesterday morning and last night got your letter dated Dec 1& 6. The one you sent to Lucy, there weren’t any pictures in it so I guess she got them back o.k. Hope so anyway.  Sure glad to hear that Pop and Mose are doing good with the stand. I wish you all could make a deal with Dora. That would be a good business to be in after the war is over. I wrote and told you all what I thought about it, sure would like for us to have that when I get out of the Army, but if she won’t sell there is nothing that can be done about it.  It sure is pretty weather here today. Sun has been shining all day can’t tell how long it will last. I got to see Junier and a gang of boys from Weatherford the other day saw a boy in Naples that was in the same company with Raymond Sharpe, but we have moved and won’t get to see him. We are several miles from the Front lines now but for a while were almost to close for comfort. But I am well and o.k.

            Love to all,

                        Marlin
