Received your cards and was glad to hear from you all. I am ok, except about to melt down here it isn’t so much hotter than it is up there but it is a lot sultrier and that makes it worse.
We haven’t
got settled for sure yet, there was 3 boys sent to
I think I could get a 10 day furlough now, but I had rather wait until I had 10 months in and get a 15 day furlough, and also have enough cash to make the trip, so when the time comes and I can get the furlough I will be home, but don’t look for me until you see me coming and I let you know.
When we get into our regular outfits we will have a Tech Corp, or Sgt. rating that will mean $16, $32 more per month
