Dear Gram,

I am sorry I couldn’t write a letter but I don’t have any stationary and this is the only thing I had. I received a letter from Ann yesterday and I answered it the same day. Gram do you know how much money I have in the bank? That is counting my bonds and everything. I got a letter from Doug and one from Jeff today. Did Jeff quit his job? I took a shower yesterday and it was the first bath I have had since July, boy, I sure did have B.O. I feel like a new man now. I will write as soon as I get another V mail or some paper and envelope.
