Dearest Darling Wife,
Well Honey here I am with a few more lines to you. I sure hope you are getting
my mail alright and will I ever be glad when I can get a letter from my darling
wife. Gosh honey it seems like years since I heard from you. It will be so darn
swell when this is all over and I can be back with my darling wife.
Well darling this is Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t send you anything but
dearest I know you understand and when this is all over we will make up for all
this lost time. Please stick by me darling until this is all over and we can be
together and really live a happy life together. I know we will both stick by
each other the rest of our life, and it will be so wonderful, just you and I.
I am feeling fine now darling and getting along swell. I have plenty of
everything now honey. Please take good care of yourself now dear and you know
anything you want to do or anything you want to buy is perfect with me. I know
it is awful lonesome for you darling and I want you to enjoy yourself and have
a good time and do whatever you want to dear. I love you so awful darn much and
you know I always will darling. I am so lonesome and want to see you so darn
bad Honey and I know God will answer our prayers and bring us together as soon
as possible dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious darling.
Well honey I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon
as possible now. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now darling. Tell
everyone hello for me Honey.
