My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello honey dear, here is a few more lines to you darling. I got some more letters yesterday Honey from you and the folks too. It was written about the first and tenth and boy was I ever glad to get more mail from you darling. It makes me feel so darn good when I hear from you dear.

I am feeling fine dear and getting along all right dear. We started to work today and so I guess we will get it straightened out and settled down now. I guess I will always be the same rank as long as I am in this army. It sure gets me down some times darling but as long as I try that is all I can do I guess. The most important thing is getting this war over and if I am doing the best I can and get back to you darling, that is what I am wanting. Gosh it will be swell when this is all over and we are back in each others arms darling. I have plenty of everything now dear and please don’t worry now dear cause there isn’t a thing to worry about. I will be so darn glad when I can really take care of you darling and we can get our little home started. I know God will take care of us darling and bring us together as soon as possible darling. I am sure glad to get settled down after all this running around we have done.

Gee darling I would sure like to be back home and see you in those new clothes. Please have me a picture made with your new suit on darling. Have me a whole lot of them made and send them to me darling. Please do Honey cause gee it makes me feel so darn good and I look at your pictures all the time dear, so please don’t forget now dear.

I was sure glad to hear that you got my cablegram darling. I sent you three while I was there darling but it is almost impossible to send one from here, but I think you will get my mail pretty regularly dear. I sure hope so anyway, and I will sure be glad when I know that you are getting my mail. I sure was glad to hear you got your money order dear. And darling now please use our money for anything you want, cause I want my wife to have anything possible for you to have dear. Are you still getting your government money darling?

I love you so awful darn much darling and you know I always will. You are so darn sweet and so precious darling. It makes me feel so darn good to know we are man and wife and I am so darn proud of my little wife. Gee you are wonderful darling.

Well Honey I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible darling. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters darling. Tell all the folks hello for me dear.
