My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello Honey, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dear no mail so far today but I still have hopes. I sure hope that some comes in before the day is over. Gosh Honey your letters are so darn wonderful and make me feel so swell and so darn happy. I sure hope you are getting my mail alright dear cause I know Honey that you look for my mail just like I do yours. You are so precious dear and so darn sweet. I love you so awful, awful much dearest.
I am feeling fine now dear and getting along alright. I have plenty of everything now dear. Everything is going along the same as usual here, weather the same as usual. I’ll bet it is getting pretty warm at home by now. You want to be careful now dear and don’t get to hot and don’t work to hard now dear. I am sure glad you like your job Honey and that everything is going all right with you. I sure hope you don’t have too much work now dear when those other girls leave. Please take it easy now dear and get your rest and be awful careful now dear.
I am sure glad that you are giving a dollar and ten cents in your envelope now dear. Gosh Honey you are such a perfect little wife. You are right honey, God gave you your job Honey and he is looking after us and our folks and Honey you sure can afford that much toward the church. I will be so darn glad when I get back dear and we can go to church like we used to. I get so much out of the prayer book you sent me dear and I sure like those little prayer books that Reverend Meyer sends me and I sure hope he continues to send them to me. It will sure be swell when I can join church Honey and we can go every Sunday morning, gosh won’t it be swell dear. I know God is looking after us dear and that he will bring us together as soon as possible.
Honey you be sure and take care of that heat that was breaking out on your neck. Please take good care of it now dear and don’t you get to hot now either Honey.
Gosh Honey it will be so darn swell when I get home and we can fulfill our plans. It will be so darn swell when we have our reception dear, gee we will be so darn happy and it will be so wonderful. And darling after it is over then we can take out on our honeymoon and be by ourselves and really enjoy ourselves dear, gee it will be so darn swell. We have always planned something like that dear all the time we have gone together and it will be so wonderful.
I love you so awful, awful much dear and you know I always will Honey. You are so darn precious and so sweet honey and all mine too. I am so darn proud of you dearest and so glad we are married and really own each other. Just knowing that we really belong to each other means so darn much to us darling. We will be so darn happy when we are in each others arms now dear and I can get a sweet kiss from you Honey. You keep that sweet little chin up now dear and you know I will to Honey and I know everything will turn out swell for us. Gosh but you are the most perfect little wife dear and so sweet. I love you so awful, awful much dear and you know I always will darling sweetheart.
Well Honey I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now dear. Please be careful now Honey and take good care of yourself. Tell all hello Honey.
