My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello honey, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters today but I got a wonderful package today and some papers too. Gosh darling it sure is swell. I sure hope I got some sweet letters tomorrow dear. Honey your letters are so darn wonderful and they mean so darn much to me. They make me so darn happy and make me feel so darn swell Honey. I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dear. You are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful much darling.

I am feeling fine now dear and getting along all right. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well it has been plenty warm today Honey, but this is evening and there is a fair breeze blowing and that helps out some. I made another ninety mile trip today with a truck and trailer so I am plenty tired tonite. I don’t think I will have to go tomorrow though. I sure hope you aren’t working too hard now dear. Please be awful careful dolly and take good care of my sweet little wife now.

Darling that was sure a wonderful package I received today. Gee dolly so much swell stationary and two cans of heat powder and a swell box of candy and some gum to. Honey you are so darn swell to me and so wonderful in every way. And honey that was sure a sweet note you had in the package. Darling I sure wish I could tell you in writing just how wonderful you are and how much I appreciate all the swell things you send me. Boy when I get home I will sure tell you in my own words how swell you have been to me dear. You know I will make you the best husband I know how dear. You are the most precious and most perfect little wife in this whole world dear and I am so darn proud of you. I gave my buddies some candy Honey and they sure liked it. They sure all know what a wonderful little wife I have. Gee darling you are so darn sweet and so wonderful and dearest I love you so darn much. It will sure be wonderful when I get home and can get you nice things like you do me dear.

Honey dear you was telling me about a new insurance you were taking out. I think that is a good idea Honey cause that nine dollars a week would sure come in handy if you should happen to get sick. That isn’t so very much either Honey fifty-three cents a week. I think we will both carry some kind of pension out when you need it most. Honey I hope you are still getting the checks from the government. They aren’t much but they help out a little.

You said you and Nadine were going downtown shopping together the other nite dear. I sure hope you was able to finish your Christmas shopping dear. Gosh honey I am sure glad you have such a swell girls friends like Nadine and Thelma. I have never been able to meet them but I know they are really swell. It is sure swell when you can go shopping or go somewhere with them and your other girl friends dear. I sure want to meet all of them when I get home dear and I sure hope you can meet a lot of my buddies too dear.

Honey won’t it be wonderful when we get our own little home and have it all paid for. We are going to have an awful lot of fun honey picking out where we want our home and the kind we want and our furniture and all like that. Remember how we used to talk about everything like that dear and plan the things we wanted to do. We will be so awful happy and now we will be in each others arms all the time dear.

I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will darling. You are so darn precious and so sweet dearest. Honey we love each other so darn much and it is so heavenly to really own each other. Honey I’ll bet out first embrace will be the longest one we ever had. We are sure going to make up for all this lost time dear. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will bring us together as soon as possible. You keep that sweet little chin up now dear and Honey you know I will to and I know everything will turn out swell for us dear. I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will dear.

Well dolly I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now Honey. Please be awful careful dear and take good care of my sweet little wife. Remember chin up and always happy dear. Tell all hello Honey.
