My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no mail in so far today but I am sure hoping some comes in before the day is over. The mail service sure has been poor here lately and I expect it will get worse instead of better. I don’t suppose you are getting my mail very good either Honey. Gee darling your sweet letters mean so darn much to me and they are so precious. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling when I can get your sweet letters. Honey dear please don’t worry when you don’t hear from me for quite a while sometimes. There might be times when I couldn’t write you for a month or more at a time dear. You know I will always write you as often and as much as possible dearest. You are so darn sweet Honey and I love you so awful, awful darn much dear.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well sugar it is plenty hot here today, the same as usual. I sure hope you are having some nice weather at home now dear. Well honey I worked the regular day shift today. We was cleaning up all our equipment today and fixing things up. Gosh Honey I will be so darn happy to get out of this darn thing and always wondering what you are going to be doing. A guy never is relaxed it seems and your nerves is always on edge. Gee darling I will be so darn happy to get back in your sweet arms and everything will be so darn heavenly dear.

Honey I sure wish we was together like we was this time two years ago dear. You had me such a beautiful cake when I came in that nite dear. Then we went out and had supper together and then went back down to the house and, well you know what Honey. Gee but we was so darn happy dear and everything was so wonderful. You gave me that nice little kit with my name on it, remember dear. Boy I sure got a lot of good out of that to Honey. I didn’t get to get you anything that year either Honey, this makes three years now darling that I havn’t been able to get you anything. I sure hope I am back in your sweet arms so I can get you something nice next year dear and I really thing we will be back together by this time next year dear. I am sure hoping this whole thing could be over by then dear but if it isn’t surely this rotation will be working by then. Gosh Honey we could be having so darn much fun if we was together tonite. We will make up for all these we have missed when we get back together dear. Gosh Honey we sure have a lot to catch up on and what I mean we are sure going to start as soon as we get back in each others arms dear. We will be so darn happy dearest and everything will be so heavenly.

Sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along all right in every way with you dearest. Sure hope you don’t have to much work now dearest. Gee darling you have been working so darn hard and with no let up either. Please take it easy now dearest and please don’t work to hard now dear. Sure hope you are feeling sweel in every way now to Honey. Please take good care of yourself darling and I know you will take good care of my sweet little wife dear.

Honey dear you talked kind like that Auntie might have before long. Gosh Honey I sure hope she stays a little longer with you. She is so darn much help to you dear and so much company for you. It will sure be hard on you again dear, having to get supper after you get home and then do your houswork to. Gee darling I sure hope you get set up for the winter now to. Have you decided what to do yet Honey. You and Pop never will be able to keep that place warm honey with both of you gone all day. I will be so darn happy when I am back in your sweet arms dear and we have our own little home and I can take care of my sweet little wife in every way. Darling I sure will be happy when you can quit working to and just be a little housewife. Honey we will be so darn happy. You will be waiting right at the door for me every nite when I come home from work with a great big hug and lot of kisses, won’t you darling. You had better you sweet little dickens. That will be the last thing when we part in the morning and the first thing when we get back to each other at nite, right Honey.

Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dearest and gee darling just the most wonderful little wife in the world. We are so happily married and we love each other more every day Honey. Darling I know God hears our prayers and will answer them and keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. [edited for content] miss you so darn much.
