November 12, 1944—Thursday

My Dearest Darling Husband,

Hello sweetheart hows my precious darling. You’d better be fine honey dear. I know my wonderful one is sweeter and more precious then ever too. Gee honey dearest I’m looking so forward to tomorrow to see if I get any mail and I hope and I pray so terribly much that I will. Your letters mean so terribly much to me dearest and are so awfully wonderful. I love my precious darling so darn much. Dearest you know I always will too.

Well honey today as he had so terribly much to eat and the weather was so nice, I thought so much of my precious one and hoping so much that your day was a very nice one too. I went to church this morning honey and enjoyed it so very much. My heart was so thankful to God for all he is giving us honey. Reverend Meyer said some are thankful for getting letters from a loved one and dearest I surely am too. After getting thru the last 3 weeks, I’m very happy to be getting my little honeys letters. We are both praying that next year we’ll be together and we will to Honey.

Well honey I’m working a half day tomorrow, just about 5 of us there are. I haven’t anything else to do. I get off another afternoon any day next week.

Ruth and I was just going downtown and we’re just going to the show now.

Honey we heard that the peoples are moving out of our home, so maybe we’ll be able to move next week. Boy that’ll be a job too. Sunday I’m going over to wash everything and disinfect everything too. If we do, my new address will be Route #3 c/o DF Berg. I’ll have to notify the war ____ on my allotment as soon as we find out for sure.

Darling surely hope this finds my precious one so terribly much, feeling fine. Please be careful now and Honey take good care of my darling baby. We’re so happily married and love each other so darn much. We’ll be together soon sweetheart and oh gosh how terribly happy we’ll be when this is all over. Darling I know God is taking good care of my wonderful husband and that he’ll return me to you soon too. Sweetheart chin up now and darling surely hope you’ve heard from me now honey dear. I know its terribly important for you to get them honey and surely you have by now. I love you so terribly much honey.
