My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know & fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters today but I am hoping that some comes in before the day is over. I received a letter from the folks yesterday but none from you dearest. It was the first one that I have received with the new address on it dear and it was November the twentieth. I was sure glad to hear that my mail was getting home dear. Mother didn’t say that you had heard from me but I know you must have darling cause I wrote you first and as often as possible after that. She said she had she had talked to you about morning & you & Helen was going to one of the girls wedding. Gosh darling I am hoping so much that I hear from you today. Your precious letters mean the world & all to me darling & they are so sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest & make me feel so wonderful all over. Honey I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now. You are so darn sweet dearest & I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling pretty good now dearest & getting along all right in every way. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well Honey it is raining here again, just sums (?) like we can’t get over a couple of days nice weather. I sure hope that it don’t rain to long this time. Gee darling it will be so darn swell when I am out of here & back in your sweet arms. Sure hope the weather isn’t to cold at home now darling. Well Honey I don’t feel so very good this morning. I got a shot yesterday and they always make a guy feel bad for about a day or so. Really been on the go the last couple of days & nites to & the sleep has been very small. Gosh Honey it will be so swell when this thing is all over & we are back in each others arms for good. It will be one of the happiest days in our life when this thing is all over darling & we can really start our life together.
Well darling some of the packages have started coming in and I am sure hoping that they all get here before so very long. I got two newspapers yesterday to, one was August & one was September but they was something to read even though they were old. Sure hope you have most of your Christmas shopping done by now darling. Gee but I would of liked to been there to help you Honey. Our shopping won’t even be a job Honey cause we always enjoyed it so much when we used to go shopping together. That last Christmas that I was home we done a lot of our shopping together dear and we had so darn much fun.
Darling that was sure a cute little joke about the bee and his honey. Would you be buzzing if you had me like that darling. I’ll be more than buzzing when I have you like that dear. Won’t it be heavenly when we are back together darling & can be like that when ever we want to. I’ll betcha it will be awful, awful often to dearest. Wasn’t it heavenly when we would go out by Ragans dear, several times there at home to darling. I’ll betcha Remember some of those cold nites when we used to stay home darling. Gosh Honey we was always so happy, no matter where we went or what we done, just so we were together. It is so awful hard on us having to to be away from each other now dear but we are so happy to know that we really belong to each other & that when this thing is all over that we will really have the happiness that we have dreamed since we first meet. We will together every minute of our time dearest, going every place together, sleeping in each others arms & every meal right across the table from each other, just together constantly for the rest of our lives dear. We will have our own little home dearest & be so cozy & be able to do what ever we want to when ever we want to. It will all be so heavenly & we will be so darn happy darling. Honey I’ll bet we will be like the bee in a real short time after we get in each others arms. It will be just as soon as you want your Honey there dear & just as long as you want me there to darling. Isn’t it wonderful to think and dream about dear. Honey we are so happily married & and I know that there will never be a happier married couple than us. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dear & gee darling I love you so darn much.
Sure hope this finds you feeling swell & everything going along all right in every way with you dearest. Please take it easy now dear and please don’t work to hard. Please be awful, awful careful dear & take wonderful care of my sweet little wife.
