My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well Honey no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some will come in before the day is over. Those two I received yesterday were so darn sweet and precious darling just like all your wonderful letters are darling. Gosh Honey they mean so awful, awful darn much to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over dear. Gosh Honey it just makes a different person out of me when I can hear from you. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dear. You are so darn sweet Honey and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way Honey. Have plenty of everything now dolly. Well sug it has been a pretty nice day here so far and I sure hope it stays nice now. It is either muddy or dusty here it seems. It can rain for two days and three hours after the sun comes out the roads are dusty but off the roads it stays muddy just about all the time. Sure hope it isn’t to bad and cold at home now dear. It was real cold in some of your last letters dear. Gee but I wish I was there with you dear, we could be so cozy in our little home and have so much fun going out hunting or something like that and we wouldn’t mind the cold a bit would we dear. Well Honey I worked from six to midnite last nite and go to work at noon today. Boy the time to go to work sure does roll around fast.

Honey you was telling me you put the hundred dollars I sent you in the bank. Gee darling you are so darn sweet and so thrifty. I wanted you to get you something for Christmas dear. Maybe you can get something later on though dear. Honey I know it really makes you feel swell when you put money in our account. It makes both of us feel wonderful dear cause we know that every dollar we save is that much toward our home and family. Honey we are both thirsty and I know that we will be able to save and get our little home and all paid for in a short time. You have saved us so darn much dear and I am so darn proud of you darling. It will be so darn wonderful when I am back on the job dear and making good money. We will really be able to save quite a bit then dear and we will have our home and everything that goes with it all paid for in a short time. We will have so much fun getting everything dear and all our work will really be easy for us cause we will have each other to come home to at nite and be with each other every minute of our time.

Darling you was telling me that one of the girls at the office, her Mother made a scarf for you to wear around your head. I’ll bet it is really pretty dearest and Honey you said it was all wool to so it should really be warm. Gee darling the girls you work with are so darn swell and I am so darn happy you work with such a swell bunch dear.

Honey you said you went up Francis Road the other Sunday and you really felt bad when you looked up our road and thought about all the swell times we had up there. Boy Honey we sure did have a lot of wonderful times up there. When I get home dear we are going to go up there and go over some of our times just like we used to do dear and now when we go back there we will be wife and husband. Gee darling won’t it be heavenly to go up there and talk about all the swell times we had there and I’ll bet we aren’t there long before we go through things just like we used to dear. We sure did take a lot of chances up there dear. Remember when we used to go up there in the summer months dear and then we would have to move real quick sometimes and how we would be when we took off, gee but it was wonderful dearest. It will be so darn wonderful when we are back in each others arms dearest and can be by ourselves all the time and do what ever we want to and whenever we want to. Gosh Honey isn’t it wonderful to think about our meeting in California or overtown. It will be so darn wonderful if I can come right to your room like we have planned dear. Gee darling, just think of the wonderful feeling we will have as the time draws within a few minutes of our meeting and then when you open the door and we rush into each others arms for our first embrace in months dear. Honey you are going to be in your black robe set, aren’t you. Gosh darling it won’t be very long until, well you won’t be dear, right Honey. Gosh Honey isn’t it wonderful to think about and darling we will be together before long now. Our longest wait is over dear and every day that goes by is one day closer to our wonderful day.

Sure hope this finds you feeling wonderful dear and everything going along all right in every way at home. I sure hope you don’t have to much work now dear. Sure hope that your helper is back dear cause that is to darn much for you to do by yourself dear. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife and please don’t work to hard now dear. Gee darling it will be so darn wonderful when we get all straightened up and you can quit working.

Honey you was telling me in one of your letters about you and Norma Jean going to the skating vanities. I’ll bet tat sure was good dear and sure glad you went. Yes Honey I remember when we saw Buster Crabb there. I sure do remember when we used to go to the roller derby and the walkathon to dear. We sure did like those Honey and really enjoyed ourselves. I remember the first time you wore those green slacks, remember dear, you got them especially to wear to the walkathon. You looked so darn wonderful in them dearest, just like you always do. Gee darling you always wear your clothes so perfect and have the most wonderful choice in getting everything. Gee but you are a perfect little wife dearest and I am so awful darn proud of you darling.

You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dolly. Gee darling you are so darn sweet and so precious in every way. Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Gosh but it will be heavenly to be able to hold you for yours dear and have your precious arms around me and we will be kissing each other one time right after another dearest. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts. They are so darn wonderful and I love them so awful, awful darn much dearest. Yours are fine dear, miss you so awful darn much. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dolly.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly.
