My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some comes in before the day is over. Honey dear your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling aren’t letters wonderful things when you are so far away from the one that means the world and all to you. It will sure be heavenly when we are back in each others arms dearest and won’t have to write letters all right now dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now. Well it is raining here again today Honey. Sure would like to see it stay nice for a little while now. Gosh Honey I am so darn tired of this climate and will be so awful darn happy when I am back in your sweet arms and a swell climate. I go to work at noon today Honey. Didn’t do much yesterday cause it was to wet to work out on the job. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when we can really start our life together and we will be so darn happy dear.

Darling you was telling me about not even having an alarm clock now and you just wake up a little after six. Gosh Honey I don’t see how you wake up every morning like that. I guess you can’t buy an alarm clock back there now. I know the folks had to get one here a long time ago and they had an awful time getting it. Sure honey I think we can both get up by an alarm clock now. I’ll say it will be wonderful to go to bed together and be together all nite and get up together dearest. Gee darling it will all be so darn swell and on our days off work we can sleep until we want to get up. Darling it will sure be wonderful if this thing works out so you can meet me in California and like you said dear get a Pullman if we can and be in each others arms all the way home. I don’t see why they don’t turn a guy loose on the coast and let him have that traveling time to go back home like he wants to. I guess it just isn’t the army way. At any rate dear we will be in each others arms within a few days after I hit the states. Gee but I hope these next three or four months have big quotas cause if they do Honey that will sure mean our happy day will come soon after that. Gee if only they could end that on the other side. It would mean bigger quotas dear and a lot less chance for me to come back over after I do get back. Gosh Honey isn’t it wonderful to think about and know that every day that goes by is one day closer to our wonderful day.

Honey I sure do hope I get my pen all right now. Darling I know everything is hard to get and I am sure glad you was able to find a pen without having to get a set. It will be plenty good for me over here dear cause you can’t take care of anything over here. No matter what you have it is always so darn damp or so dry and all the moving we do that you just can’t have anything good cause it will get ruined. Gosh Honey you are so darn sweet to me and always get me everything and send me so many swell things. Boy Honey that heat powder has sure saved me a lot of grief and pain. I use it every day Honey, for my feet and under the arms and between the legs and on the body when I get the heat cash. Boy Honey there is so darn much athlete’s foot and these tropical diseases that break out between the legs and under the arms and that has sure kept me clear of it all most of the time. I have had a few touches between the legs and if I would take a shower or two and not use the powder, but then I would get rid of it in just a few days. Gee darling you have been so darn wonderful to me and always doing everything in your power for me. I will be so darn happy when I am in your sweet arms dearest and can get you things like I want to.

Honey you was telling me about Roy having an infection in the cut he got on his head. Gee darling I sure hope that gets all right now and he don’t have any more trouble with it. I’ll bet those guys are really paying for that now. A person never knows who is walking the streets and roads nowadays cause there is so many guys in the service and guys that are drawn to town by war jobs and they are from all walks of life. It will sure be a wonderful day for everyone when this thing is all over and the world it back to natural again.

Darling you was telling me in your latest letters that it was snowing at home and really cold. Gee darling I sure hope it didn’t last to long cause I know you really get cold waiting for the bus and coming back at nite. I am sure glad you have such a swell little place now dear cause it is warm when you get home at nite and really nice all the time while you are at home. That other place was so big dear and so darn hard to hear. I will sure be glad when spring comes dear cause it will sure make it a lot nicer for you.

Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dear. You are so darn sweet and precious in every way dolly. Gee darling isn’t it wonderful to be married and really own each other. I know that there never will be a happier married couple than us darling. Honey won’t it be heavenly to hold each other so tight and kiss each other one time right after another. I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible dearest. Honey please take wonderful care of my precious parts, they are so wonderful and gee I love them dear. Yours are fine dolly miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dearest and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now Honey. Please be awful, awful careful dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dear, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
