My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some will come in before the day is over. Hasn’t been any mail in to amount to anything for about four days now. Sure hope it starts coming in now. Gosh darling your precious letters mean so awful, awful much to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so darn happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. It gives me the grandest feeling when I can get your precious letters dearest. Honey I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will Honey.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well honey it is a pretty nice day here so far but I expect it will be raining before the day is over. Sure would like to see it stay nice now. Sure hope it is nice at home now dear and not to cold. Well dear I worked from six till midnite last nite and go back to work at noon today. Honey won’t it be heavenly when we are back in each others arms and can go to work together every day and come home together every nite. Gee but we will be happy dearest and everything will be so wonderful.

Honey dear I sure hope you have taken some sweet pictures for me lately. They mean so awful darn much to me darling and make me so happy. I look at your wonderful pictures so awful much dearest. You take such a perfect picture dear, it just seems like I can almost talk to you in all your pictures dear. I sure wish I could take some for you dear but there is no place to get them printed after I take them. I’ll be back in your sweet arms one of these days darling and you can take pictures of me and do anything with me your little heart desires. I’m all yours darling and yours alone. Honey dear when I do get back how about us having some nice pictures taken together, you know dear, kind of like our wedding pictures. Don’t you think that would be swell dearest. Honey dear please take some pictures for me when ever you get a chance now. I sure want some of you in your new Easter outfit to sweetheart.

Honey dear you said that everything you do or get you always say to yourself that I will be glad for you anyway. Your darn right I am glad for you darling. I’m your husband darling and my whole life is yours and whenever you are happy, I am happy to dearest. We really love each other dearest and our whole life is built around each other. It always makes me feel so wonderful when you get new clothes or anything new dear. Honey it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and we can do everything together and have our real happiness.

Well darling this is evening and I just got in from work. It is eight o’clock now dear and I just finished supper and finished my shower. It sure does make a late supper when you have to work until seven. I sure am tired tonite and not feeling very well either dear. I have an awful cold and my head is all stopped up, sure does make a person feel awful. If I was home in your sweet arms you would doctor me up tonite dear and I would feel wonderful in the morning. Won’t it be heavenly when we can look after each other in every way dear and be right together, every minute of our time.

Sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along all right in every way at home dear. Sure hope you aren’t working so awful hard now dearest and no overtime. Gosh Honey it is so darn hard on you when you don’t have any help. Please take it easy now dearest and please don’t work to hard now. I will be so awful darn happy when you can quit working dearest and just be a little housewife.

Honey you was telling me about them putting a drive-in theater in over a Swope Park. I’ll say that will be swell for us dearest. That will just be a nice drive for us. I’ll say they are swell for the summer months dear and we sure will wear our shorts or just what ever we want to. Gee we had so much fun that nite we went out to the one on seventy one highway dear. We can be so much closer together when we are in our car like that dear and can do whatever we want to. Gee darling if this darn war would just end so we could have our happiness. It has been going so darn long Honey, surely it will end one of these days before long. Things are looking real good now and I sure would like to see Germany fall. It just seems like she is going to have to have everything taken before they give up. It will be one of the happiest days in our life when this thing is all over and we can really start our life together Honey.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Honey dear isn’t it wonderful to think about our first embrace and all the wonderful ones that will come after that .I will hold you so awful, awful tight dearest and it will just be one kiss right after another dear. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so awful darn much. Yours are fine darling miss you so darn much but they will be together before long dearest. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now angel. Please be awful, awful careful dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
