Hi, “Tommie.”
How are you and the rest of the gang getting along? Swell I hope.”
As for me as this Chinese puzzle departs from me, it leaves me hungry as hell, and “no kidding”
Well chum, I would have answered sooner, but since I arrived here the 7th, all I’ve done is sweat out liner of various types. I’ve even been on detail. But all in all, it isn’t too bad, cause most of the boys are here. In my tent, there is Goldman, (lady) Kovachic, Blasey, Pillnaller, Miller, Degenhart and Robertson.”
To tell you the truth, seems as if the whole eight-two-one is here.
A lot of the boys who had left before we did are still sweating in out and God only knows how much longer the sweating will go on.
Please excuse my writing, cause at this moment I’m laying on my back. “No energy.”
About the ride, we had one here. In my opinion was a very pleasant trip. And every one of us had the same kind of trip.
Jensen, Atwood and Dutch, are still here. Semm funny as hell to me, but I guess that’s the way it goes!
By the way, how is Scott Smalley doing out with push push? Tell him to lay off Maria. By the way, do the girls still come to visit you guys? How is Archie Cumming doing out with them> Ask him if he still remembers the time we went out Tom-cating and he stuck his hands in a pile of “well what’s the difference, it stunk.” HAHA
Well Tommie guess I’ll close this script. Cause really there is not much to write about this place. Give my best regards to George, Ott, Poff Morcial and the rest of the boys. Maybe if they are lucky they’ll catch up with us here.
So until then receive the best regards, from the fellows here.
Your friend as ever
Placido R. Garcia
I just heard the latest L.R. that Hoot, Harrington was appointed body-guard of two-gun for being on the alert all the time.”
P.S. Tell Pollock that the monkey business is great over here. And that us boys are sending Frank Buck to bring him back alive. Oh! I meant the monkey.”
So long and good luck,
P.R.G.
