My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gee darling I got the sweetest letter today and I was so darn thrilled to get it. It was so darn sweet and precious dear, just like all your wonderful letters are. I also got one from the folks dear and some Grace Notes from R W Meyer. Both of the letters were February the sixteenth dear so that was darn good time. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful darn happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling when I can get your precious letters. You had been getting my mail real good to darling and I sure hope it continues to come in like that. Six days is sure a quick trip from way over here. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here and there is a good breeze blowing but it is still awful hot. Boy the sun on this white coral sure does make it hot it seems. I sure do hope you are having some nice weather now dear. Today is the first of March so you should be having some nice weather now before long Honey. You will probably have plenty of wind this month dear. Gosh but I would like to be there in your sweet arms dolly. We will be in each others arms one of these days before long Honey and gee how heavenly it will be dearest. Every season and everything will really be enjoyed by us dear.

Sure hated to here about Helen falling and hurting herself. I guess it was lucky she didn’t have any broken bones though. I’ll bet she sure hated it coo ‘cause that was supposed to be her first day at the post office I guess. I am sure glad she got that ‘cause those other people had it so darn long they didn’t care what happened to the mail. Mrs. Wiles was all right but that husband of hers was just the opposite. I know Mrs. Noil will make good in there. I sure hated to see her quiet down at Peets though dear ‘cause I know you will sure miss her. You will see her ever so often though and you and her will probably go shopping together or to the show or dinner or something like that every once in a while. Gee darling I will be so darn happy when I get back on the job and we get our car and you can take me to work and then go shopping or out to some of your girl friends or where ever you care to and then come and get me at nite. It will be that much longer I can be with you in the mornings and that much sooner that I will get with you in the evenings dear. Gosh Honey won’t it be wonderful and gee we will be so darn happy.

Honey dear you was telling me that the girl you ride to work with has a husband in the navy in California and she only writes him once a week and sometimes not even that. That is a way with a lot of couples dearest. You said some of the girls at the office was just like that too Honey. There is a lot of guys in the army the same way Honey. I know of a couple of cases where the fellows didn’t write for so long that their wives wrote to the war department to find out about them. It is couples like that that you hear having troubles to Honey and it sure isn’t the same true love we have darling. Our letters mean so darn much to you dearest, gee darling I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t hear from you real often. That’s the one thing that brightens the day honey, your precious letters, the only thing I have to look forward to from day to day and I am sure always on the look out for mail, every minute in the day. I have often wondered about some of these fellows that very seldom write their wives and I just wonder what kind of a world they live in and what kind of a love a couple like that has for each other. It sure isn’t the real true love dearest like we have. We really love each other Honey and our love is straight from the heart, our whole life is built around each other and all our thoughts are centered in each other. Gee darling we are such a happily couple and I know there never has or never will be a happier married couple than us. We were really meant for each other darling and we are so thankful to God for bringing us together. You are such a perfect little wife dearest and I love you so awfu, awful much.

Darling you was telling me about going down town the other Saturday and doing some shopping. You said first you got some pink slippers to match that wine colored robe set you have. Is that the one that Norma gave you dearest? I remember you have a wine colored gown or robe or maybe both before I left remember that day in your room when you were showing me all your things dearest. I’ll bet that is sure a pretty set dear and gee I’ll be glad when I can see my dolly in it. And dearest you said you got a black gown too just for me. Does that make two you have now darling. Gee but I’ll bet its beautiful darling and I am so glad you got it. You said you sure did like it Honey and that it had lace on the bottom and all around the top too, gosh Honey I know it is so darn pretty. Honey you said it was sure thin material too, oh boy darling and dear it won’t be like not having hardly anything on long after we are together cause it won’t be, how about that dear. Honey I know your black set is really pretty and I will be so happy when I walk in the door and see my little doll in it or the gown and then afterwards you can show me the whole set right dearest. Honey do you have the slippers to your black set or what have you planned for them dear. Honey dear it gives me the most wonderful feeling when we talk about our meeting. It will be one of the happiest days in our life dearest.

Honey I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dear. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dearest. Gosh Honey we will hold each other so awful tight and kiss each other so often when we get in each others arms. It will almost be a continuous embrace dearest. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so much. Yours are fine dolly miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dolly and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dear.

Well Sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please be awful awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my darling little wife. Remember now dearest, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
