My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife? Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope dear. You had better be dolly. Well seen no sweet letters so far today but I received an awful sweet one yesterday evening after I had already written you dear. I also got one from the folks Honey. They were both the twenty third so that is pretty good time dearest. I sure do hope some comes in today darling. Gosh Honey your precious letters mean the world and all to and they are so darn sweet. They make me feel so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey they give me the grandest feeling. You hadn’t been hearing from me in the last couple of letters dear, on account of this move but I sure hope the rest of the letters say that you have received some mail from me here. I have been getting my mail real good here dear and I sure hope you are getting mine the same way. Just about the time the mail services gets good I take off to some place else. I don’t think it will be so long before we will be doing it again. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and we won’t have to write letters any more. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful, awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along alright in even way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here, plenty hot though. Sure hope you was having cold weather and snow, gosh Honey it sure has been a bad winter. Maybe you will have an early spring this year by it being such a bad winter Honey. Gosh Honey it will be so wonderful when we are back in each others arms and we will be so darn happy. We won’t have to worry about the weather either like we used to dear.

Honey I sent you a money order in your letter yesterday and I want you to do whatever you want with it dear. If you need anything or want anything in any way dearest I want you to get it with that dear. If you don’t need anything you can just put it in our account dearest. But now darling I want you to have everything you want and I want you to use that for anything you need it for. Gosh Honey I want you to be the happiest little wife in this world. Won’t it be heavenly when are back in each other arms and I ran go with each other to get all our clothes and then go home and help each other with them, yes, yes, dearest. I never will forget that day we went shopping and you bought the blouse to go with your slacks and they the part I bought you and then we came home and helped you dearest. Honey when I get home one furlough we are going on a shopping tour, yes sir Honey just for you and I am going to buy your things just whatever you want, the first time I ever bought you a whole outfit dear. Then when I get out of this thing we are going to both get a complete new outfit, right dearest? And Honey when I get your new outfit while I am home on furlough I get to put every piece on, yes sir dear. Gee darling we will be so darn happy and have so much fun. I’ll be that first week we hardly get outside of our room dearest and I’ll bet there will be very little sleeping done too. How about it dear?

Honey dear you said you were going to go bake me some more of those cookies. Gee but they were swell dearest and look how long they had been on the road. Gosh Honey, just look who made them, my own sweet little dolly. You are such a swell little cook dearest. I sure hope I get my fruit cake you make me for Valentine’s Day Honey. The folks sure did like there’s dear. Mother was telling me all about it in one of her letters and she said that Dad sure thought your fruit cakes were wonderful dear. Mother sure thought they were swell and she has been asking me ever few letters if I have ever got any of my packages with your fruit cakes dear. It will be so darn wonderful when I am right there in your sweet arms and can eat your wonderful cooking dearest, gosh Honey right across the table from each other every meal right together all the time dearest. Honey dear we can’t really realize how wonderful everything will be because it will be so much more wonderful than anytime we have ever experienced. I’m never letting you our of my sight dolly, no sir Honey not for one minute, wherever you go I’ll be right I’ll be right there dearest. Honey I surely wish I could of sent you something for Valentine’s Day. I was so darn busy and one this last move then dear that it was gone before I ever thought about it. I think I left that day or day before and never even got to write you dearest. Next year we will be in each others arms and can give each other our Valentines in person dear and a lot of kisses along with it.

Honey dear I sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along alright on the job now. I sure hope you don’t have too much work now darling. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my adorable little wife. Dearest I will be so darn happy when I am in your sweet arms and can take wonderful care of you in every way. We will look after each other in every way darling and I’ll be the best little nurse you ever had dearest.

Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Honey when I get you in my arms, gee I am going to hold you so awful, awful darn tight and give you one kiss right after another dear. I know God bless our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together darn much. Honey dear you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest.

Well I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please take wonderful care of my sweet little wife now dolly and be awful, awful darn careful now. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello now dearest.
