My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gosh Honey I just received four of the sweetest letters and I was so darn thrilled to get them dearest. I also got two from the folks and one from another one of my buddies that went home. Gosh honey yours were so darn sweet and precious, just like all your wonderful letters are. Yours was March the twenty sic, twenty seventh, twenty eighth, and twenty ninth so that is darn good time dear. Gosh Honey your precious letters mean so awful darn much to me and they are so sweet. They make me so awful darn happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. It just gives me the grandest feeling all over when I get your precious letters dolly. Honey you had received four letters from me one day but then the mail hadn’t been coming in so good in the rest of them. Sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well Honey it is a real nice day here, awful hot though. Boy this past couple of weeks have sure been awful hot. Sure hope it cools off a little now. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. Well Honey I worked last nite and slept until about ten thirty this morning. Boy my bed was like someone had poured water in it from precipitation. I go on the day shift tomorrow and boy I’ll bet it will be another powerful hot day Just got back from church a little while ago dearest. Had another real nice service today. Sure am glad we have our own chapel and Chaplain now. Gee darling it will be so darn swell when we are back in each others arms and can go to church together every Sunday.

I was sure glad that Pete called you. He wrote a letter back and he said he was
going to call you the next day or so. He was sure a nice fellow. He is a man of
thirty or so years Honey and I think he just has that sister there in K.C. [
Honey you
was telling me about the picture of Pat Barnes bride to be appearing in the
paper the other Sunday. Is he still in the army dear or is he out and there in
the states. Boy I can’t feature him marrying a girl that drinks all the time
and so young. He was always so timid and very seldom even looked at a girl.
That’s the way most of those bashful boys turn out though. You was saying you saw that Curtis was married to dear. He wrote
me about this girl in
Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much and dearest you know I always will. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Honey dear one of my letters today had the sweetest kiss on it. It is so awful wonderful to see my sweet little lip prints dearest and honey it won’t be long before we will have our lips pressed together and holding each other so awful tight. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts Honey, gee they are so awful wonderful and I love them so awful much. Yours are fine dearest, miss you so darn much but they will be back together before so very long darling. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful darn much and dearest you know I always will.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest.
