My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping some comes in before the day is over. The mail has been coming in pretty good here lately and gee how I hope it continues dear. Your precious letters mean the world and all to me dear and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it just makes a different person out of me in every way when I get your wonderful letters, just gives me the grandest feeling darling. Sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling pretty good now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here not so awful hot but plenty hot enough. The rain yesterday helped cool things off some. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dear. The way the radio talks it is still cold there though. Gosh it ought to be warming up before long now. Boy Honey I sure have an awful cold. My throat and tonsils were so bad yesterday and last nite that I could hardly talk or swallow. It is some better today but I have been sneezing and my nose has kept me busy today. I really doctored up yesterday and last nite. Gosh Honey it would be so darn wonderful if I was home and you could fix me up. It will be so darn heavenly when we are in each others arms dearest and can look after each other all the time. Working the nite shift this week dearest. Boy last nite was sure a tough one to put in cause I sure didn’t feel good but I finally made it. We are going on new hours tomorrow. Go to work at four in the evening and work till six then off an hour for supper and back to work at seven and quit at one. That will give us a couple more food hours to sleep cause anytime from midnite on is really good sleeping here and where we work till three now we have to sleep when it is so darn hot during the day to get in our sleep

Honey dear you said you was going to send me another pen if you could find one. This one is sure a good pen dear but just seems like the ink don’t feed through it right. I don’t know whether it is in the point or in the vacuum. I sure do like the way this one writes so nice and fine and makes your writing look so much neater. Gosh Honey you are so darn wonderful to me and always send me everything in your power to send me. You are such a wonderful little wife dolly and gosh I love you so darn much dearest.

Gee darling I had a dream last nite that I got some letters and had some pictures in them and I was so darn thrilled. I sure am hoping that the ones you took for me Easter turn out all right dearest cause gee darling I want some precious pictures so bad. I sure do hope you get the other big picture all right to dearest and nothing happens this time. Gosh Honey I look at your wonderful pictures all the time and they mean so awful darn much to me. We are sure going to take some snapshots to. Won’t it be heavenly when we are in each others arms and can look into each others eyes in person and not have to look at pictures to see each other dear. Gosh Honey we will be so awful darn happy and everything will be so heavenly. Honey the first few hours we are together I’ll bet we still won’t be able to believe it and will think we are still dreaming.

Gosh Honey the mail just came in and I received the sweetest letter from you dearest. I was so darn thrilled to get it dearest and it was so sweet and precious just like all your wonderful letters are dolly. I also received two from the folks dear and an Easter card from Beckers and an Easter card from Stony Point church. Your letter was April the seventh dear so that was sure good time. Gosh Honey you sure aren’t getting my mail. The week before you went a whole week without any mail and now in this letter you received one from me the day you wrote it, the first you had in about five days. I write you every day I can dearest and very seldom miss a day so you should get mail a lot better than that dear. Maybe it will start coming in better, sure hope so anyway. You ought to have a lot of letters when it does come in darling.

Honey you was telling me that Norma wanted you to spend your vacation with her again this year. Darling if you want to, I want you to go cause it will be something a little different from everything and a good rest for you to. You said you didn’t know whether you would go down there or get your furs, well dear it is all up to you and Honey you know if you want to do both you can do that to. I really love you dearest and with all my heart and Honey I want you to be the happiest little wife in this world. Darling if you get your furs now I want you to get what you want now and what you really life. You sure are right Honey in saying that if you get them now you will have them and then you can really get some good out of them and it is going to cost us a lot for our home and things dear when we get started. So dear if you want them I want you to get them and if you want to go to Norma’s I want you to go dearest and I know you will really enjoy yourself dear.

On one of my letters today that I got from Mother, Mrs. Noel wrote, “Hello Tommy, Mrs. Noel,” on the back of one of them. I guess she saw it when she was sorting the mail and just thought she would write on the back of the envelope. She is sure some[thing]. Helen and Jude and her are sure two nice people I think.

Sure hope this finds you feeling swell dearest and everything going along all right in everyway at home now. Please take it easy now dearest and please don’t work to hard. Gosh Honey I sure hope you get your raise cause you have sure worked hard for it. It might be so that the government won’t let them pay you any more though.

Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and precious in every way dolly. Gee darling we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Our love is real true love to dearest and straight from the heart and Honey it always will be to. Honey dear I am going to hold you so awful, awful tight and kiss you, gee so often dearest. I know god hears our prayers dearest and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dolly, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
