My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gosh Honey I am so thrilled tonite, I got four of the sweetest letters and a package today dearest. Gee darling my precious letters were so awful sweet just like all your letters are darling. I also received one from the folks and one from Mae and Peg and one from the Lutheran Center. Your letters were April the sixth, twelfth, thirteenth, and fourteenth dear so that was sure good time. Gosh honey your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful darn happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Just makes a different person out of me dear and gives me the grandest feeling. Honey you had received six letters from me in one of my letters today and gee but I was glad to hear that darling. I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dolly. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well honey it has been a real nice day here today awful hot though. Sure would be swell to see some cool weather. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. Well Honey my old nose is still on the go. Seems like I have blown it more today than I did the last couple of days. Sure hope I’m not taking another cold. Well honey I worked today and gee but I am tired tonite. I thought I would burn up today and we sure had some rough hard work today. Gosh Honey it will be so wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and back to a swell climate. I am so darn tired of all this dear and gee but it will be heavenly when our day does come dearest.

Gosh Honey I was so thrilled to get my package today and it sure did come in good shape. It looked just like it had just been wrapped dear, wasn’t mashed anywhere. Gee darling the cookies are so darn swell, gee but they are good darling. You can sure plan on making a lot of them when I get home dearest. I gave my tent buddies some to and boy they sure do think they are swell dear. They sure do come nice in those cans to dearest. I have sure been eating on them ever since I got my package dear. And Honey a swell tube of shaving cream and tooth paste to. And writing paper and envelopes and cashmere bouquet soap and talcum powder. Honey dear you are so darn sweet to send me so many swell things, gee but you are wonderful dear. Honey I sure do like the smell of cashmere bouquet and our bath room is always going to be supplied with is, right dear. Honey you use that for body powder don’t you. I’ll be doing that for you one of these days before long dearest, how about it Honey. Darling everything is so darn swell and I am so happy I got it dear. Gosh Honey you are the most precious and most wonderful little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful much dearest.

Well Peg sent me a picture of Joyce in her letter today and boy she has grown. She still looks just like she always did though. She sure must be some girl by now. I’ll bet all the little kids have really sprung up cause most of them were just at the right age to really grow fast. I probably won’t know hardly any of them when I get home. I don’t expect the older ones will really change so very much in looks though.

Well darling you was saying that the love affair is still going on there at the office. I was sure hoping the big boss would step in and put a stop to it but maybe he is just waiting for his chance. You was saying that he had a romance with another girl at the office some time ago. He must be quite a lover and I can sure imagine. It will all break up one of these days cause things like that are for no good and they usually don’t last long. Sure hope you don’t have to much work now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife.

Honey I’ll say we will both be like you said to when you would go up to your room to read my letters last summer. I’ll bet we will be that way just about twenty four hours a day our first week Honey, how about it. Gee darling won’t it be heavenly to be just like we want to and do whatever we want to. [edited for content]. Remember in Texas dear, gee but it was wonderful and our meeting will be so much more heavenly dear. It just makes me feel so wonderful all over when I think about it all dearest. I sure do remember when we would go out by Ragans and be like that darling, remember honey. Remember when you would lay your head in my lap when we would leave and go around the block that way. Now Honey we won’t have to worry about anything. We will be in our room by ourselves and bothered by no one and free to do whatever we want to and whenever we want to. Gosh Honey we have everything planned so perfectly and it will be so awful wonderful when our day does come. I know God hears our prayers Honey and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now.

Honey dear you are so awful sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly. You are so awful sweet and precious Honey. Gee darling I am so awful darn lonesome for you and want to see you so awful bad. Thirty one months now dear since we parted and gee what a long time that is darling. When we parted on Mrs. Green’s porch we sure didn’t have any idea we would be separated this long Honey. It sure is wonderful to know that the worst of our waiting is over darling and that every day that goes by is one day closer to our day. Gee darling we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Our marriage means so awful, awful darn much to us dear and we sure wouldn’t be as happy as we are now if we weren’t married. Honey dear you are so awful pretty from head to toe, just perfect in every way dear, and gee all my very own. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are so wonderful and I love them so awful darn much. Gee but it will be heavenly to touch and kiss them all again dearest and I’ll bet that will be in a few minutes after our meeting dearest. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful, awful darn much. Honey dear you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dolly.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest.
